The Wee Blue Box public art space was created by AMuse earlier this year for Edinburgh's first Police Box Festival. The (ex)Police Box has been filled with an eclectic mix of books to create a wee studio space/reading room/community hub under the shadow of the Flodden Wall. It has attracted interest and support from many visitors, students and residents who pass by each day and often stop to chat or complement the artwork displayed.
We hope to encourage more people to visit and get connected with the history of the area or get involved in exploring their own local history using not only academic research, essays, historical records and writing but through storytelling, reminiscence and other creative activities.
Against the Wall is a free storytelling event, suitable for all ages, where local storytellers will present tall tales and true stories about the people and places around Auld Reekie. Free creative activities will also be available.Find Out More
